For all those true fans of Bavarian automaker, waiting for new M-series model has come to an end. 2016 BMW M5 is almost finished and it is a real beast.
Exterior and interior improvements and changes
German manufacturer is almost ready to unleash the beast for new model year. New 2016 BMW M5 is premium medium size sedan which is coming to leave everybody breathless. New M5 has been redesigned under the influence of BMW M1 concept design. How we have heard, new model should be built on the new platform. It will also come a bit larger than its predecessor. New chassis should be lighter and even more aerodynamic. New model will bring many changes and the most noticeable will be made on the front part. We will see new LED headlights, more muscular front bumpers, redesigned fenders and modified windshield. Also, new model will bring some new side mirrors, low-profile tires and more powerful alloy wheels. On the back we will see new taillights, more massive rear bumper and new air exhauster which makes some incredible noise. As we have already said, new model will be bit larger, so we should expect more space inside the cabin too. Beside more comfort, inside the cabin we will also found only the highest quality and premium materials. Interior of new model will also be equipped with the latest technological features from German automaker. These features will include: new navigation system, iDrive controller, voice command module, audio system, climate control and many more.
2016 BMW M5 engine options
According to the rumors, new 2016 BMW M5 should bring more than one engine option. Unfortunately, we don’t have official information yet. Most likely new model will get a small 3-cylinder turbocharged engine. This engine is capable to produce 150 horses. There are also speculations abut an optional xDrive system. This system should have ability to raise horsepower output to over 600 horses.
Release date and price
There are no official announcements when the new model will hit the market and how much it will cost. According to some sources, 2016 BMW M5 should be finished and launched sometime in the middle of 2016.
