GMC Acadia has been first produced in 2006. The third generation of GMC Acadia will be revealed soon with many new updates and design features. New Acadia has been built on the GM’s Lambda platform. With the new platform new Acadia will come with lighter body. New GMC Acadia comes with new reshaped headlights improved with LED technology, new integrated fog lamps, redesigned front grille. Its bonnet will be now extended and the bumpers will be reshaped in way to improve better aerodinamical performance. New GM’s SUV will be available with new 20-inch alloy wheels and with wider palette of exterior colors. New 2016 GMC Acadia will be able to accommodate up to 8 passengers. New 2016 GMC Acadia will keep the same engine as its predecessor. We are talking about a 3.6-liter V6 engine which is capable to produce 281 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. Depending on the trim level, new Acadia will be available with different outputs. New model will use 6-speed automatic transmission and it will come with FWD or AWD system.
2016 GMC Acadia price and release date
Pricing of the new 2016 GMC Acadia has yet to be announced, but we expect it to be in range from $35,000 to $50,000. New model is expected to hit the dealers in 2015.
