GMC has decided to refresh one of its remarkable SUVs this year. The new amazing 2016 GMC Terrain comes redesigned and improved under and above the hood.
Interior and exterior changes
2016 GMC Terrain comes in four available: SL, SLE(SLE-1 and SLE-2), SLT and DENALI. Everything about this car is going to be just perfectly combined. Exterior of the new GMC Terrain will be reshaped, front and rear fascia will get new lines and amazing chrome accents. Headlights as well as the taillights will come reshaped and improved with the latest LED technology. We are talking about the new LED daytime running lights. Between the headlights we will be able to see the new three bar design grille. Each trim of the new SUV will come with standard aluminum wheels. The SLE and the SLT trim will be available and with the 18-inch aluminum wheels, while the new Denali gets the all-new 19-inch wheels. The Denali trim will also get and the satin-chrome grille and special headlights and taillights design. Interior of the new Tarrain will be changed too. It will be improved with the highest quality materials. Cabin of the standard SLE model will come in premium cloth and chrome-trimmed gear selector. New Terrain will be improved with many new standard and safety features.
Under the hood of the new 2016 GMC Terrain we will be able to see two engine options. The first one will be a 2.4-liter I-4 VVT Direct Injection engine. This engine is capable to deliver 182 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. The second one is a 3.6-liter V-6 VVT Sidi engine. This power unit can deliver 301 horsepower annd 272 lb-ft of torque. This powerful engine is capable to accelerate from 0 to 60 in just 6.7 seconds. New GMC Terrain comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and with on-demand AWD system.
Release date and price of the new 2016 GMC Terrain
2016 GMC Terrain will be released by the end of 2015. Its price hasn’t been announced yet.
