2016 Honda CR-V engine options
Under the hood of the new 2016 Honda CR-V there will be just one engine option for the U.S. market. This engine option is the 2.4 – liter l4 version. This power unit can produce 190 horsepower. Other power units that will be available in other markets will include three more engine options. The first one is the 2.0 – liter i-VTEC engine. This engine is capable to produce 155 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The second possible power unit is the 1.6 – liter i-DTEC diesel unit which is able to produce around 118 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The third engine option is the 2.2 – liter i-DTEC. This power unit gives the power output of 150 horsepower and 349 lb-ft of torque. All these engines will be paired to CVT gearbox. 2016 Honda CR-V will come with front-wheel drive and with all-wheel drive as optional. It expected that efficiency of these engines will show much better when compared with its predecessor.
Release date, price and competitors
