We are expecting to see the new 2016 Infiniti Q60 on the market in 2016. This luxurious coupe will come with many exterior, interior and powertrain changes.
Exterior and interior redesign
Concept of this amazing Infiniti’s coupe has been revealed at the latest Detroit Auto Show. According to the sources, the new Q60 will come bigger than its predecessor. Its height will be reduced, but it will be longer and wider than before. Its dimensions will be: 184.6 inches long, 73.4 inches wide and 53.9 inches high. With this new dimensions the 2016 Infiniti Q60 will look more powerful and more aggressive. Almost all exterior parts of the new model will be just like on the rest of the Infiniti models. But we will see and some new features. On the front part of the car we will find redesigned headlights powered with the latest LED technology. Also, the double-arch front grille will be something new. On the rear end there will be reshaped rear bumper as well as the taillights. Rear-quater windows will come reshaped in a way to give the vehicle better aerodynamic performances. The same case will happen with the trunk and the hood. New model ‘s concept is wearing a special color sheme – Arctic Aluminum. Interior of the 2016 Infiniti Q60 should come improved and made of the highest quality materials. Instrumental panel will be two-tone black-and-white leather-wrapped. This way the car will get superior look. New Q60 will be equipped with the latest technology gadgets and features from Infiniti.
2016 Infiniti Q60 powertrain
Under the hood of the new 2016 Infinity Q60 we will probably find a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbocharged DOHC engine with direct injection. This engine has been borrowed from the Q80 Inspiration Concept. Engine will be matted to a 7-speed automatic transmission. RWD system will be standard, while the AWD system will come as optional.
Price and release date
According to the sources, the new 2016 Infiniti Q60 will be revealed in early 2016. Base model should cost around $45,000, and the model with the AWD system should cost around $50,000.
