2016 PORSCHE 911 REDESIGN AND SPESC

For all those who love speed and good look we have to say that the new 2016 Porsche 911 had its debut this year and it’s ready to hit the showroom floors.

Exterior and interior design

Porsche’s facelifted 911 has finally had its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Even the main changes have happened under the hood of the new Porsche 911, we will be able to see some interesting updates and improvements of its exterior and interior. These changes are subtle but still very effective. At the front part of the new Porsche 911 we can see new headlamps featuring four-point LED daytime running lights. Air intakes have also been reshaped. Some interesting changes have also happened at the rear part of the vehicle – redesigned rear lamps and a new engine cover. Interior of the vehicle has been changed too.  Porsche Communication Management touchscreen infotainment system has been updated with Wi-Fi and Apple Carplay. Optional Sport Chrono package of this car offers a new four-mode switch rotary knob on the steering wheel. Also there is and a new Sport Response button which can prepare the drivetrain for 20 seconds of maximum acceleration. There are many new features inside the 2016 Porsche 911. Some of these features include post-collision braking system, adaptive cruise control, lane-change assist and many more.

Like we have already said, the main changes will happen under the hood of the new 2016 Porsche 911. We are talking about turbocharged engine options. The new Carrera comes powered with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine which is capable to deliver 365hp. The Carrera S is powered with the same engine but with some modifications. This way the new engine is capable to produce 414 horses.  Both of these cars need 4.2 and 3.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph.

Release date and price

The new 2016 Porsche 911 will hit the showroom floors sometime in the first half of 2016. Its price will be around $89.400 for the Carrera and $103,400 for the S. Cabriolet models will cost from $101,700 to $115,700.
