Something really interesting from Porsche has been revealed this year and soon we could expect even more. We are talking about the 2016 Porsche Panamera.
Redesign of interior and exterior
This amazing luxury sedan represents its second generation and this time it coming in many styles and trim levels. 2016 Porsche Panamera has been built on the new Modular Standard Platform. This platform supports both AWD and RWD system. New Panamera will be longer and wider than its predecessor and it will have reduced weight as well. This weight reduction comes from the usage of the lightweight materials and it will be around 200 pounds. New Porsche Panamera will be available as five-door coupe, five-door SportTurismo and a five-door long wheelbase coupe. Engineers have made this luxury sedan look more sporty and sleek than before. Rear wing of the vehicle will be extended too. Interior of the car will be very comfortable and luxurious. It is probably because of the usage of the highest quality materials and the latest technology features and gadgets. This way the 2016 Porsche Panamera is about to give everybody a real sense of luxury and comfort. New Panamera will get and a single arm rest for the driver and two cupholders.
2016 Porsche Panamera powertrain
Under the hood of the 2016 Porsche Panamera we will probably find both V6 and V8 engine options. As a base engine there will be a 3.6-liter V6. This power unit is capable to deliver around 310 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Also there will be and an option with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 power unit. This power option can produce around 420 horses and 384 lb-ft of torque. As we have found out, the current V8 engine will be replaced with a smaller but more powerful engine. Also there will be an hybrid option which is now smaller but more powerful engine. This power unit will combine a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with a 96-horsepower electric motor and it will be capable to deliver around 416 horses.
